Membership terms at Pilates Club

Booking

You sign up and book your classes via our website or Pilates Club app.

We have a 12-hour cancellation deadline for all classes with us. If you book classes after the deadline, you will be marked as a "no-show", and your membership will be locked for booking new classes. You can buy yourself free in the app under the "more" tab for NOK 100,-. The app will update after approx. 30 minutes, and you will then be able to book classes again. We have this deadline so that members who may be on the waiting list have the opportunity to plan and have time to get to the studio to attend the class.

For those of you with a haircut card, haircuts are not refunded after the 12 hour deadline. If there are unforeseen events such as illness or similar - send us an email and we will help you.

Private lessons must be cancelled no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time, otherwise the lesson will be charged as usual.

If you are registered for a course/workshop, the course fee is not refundable. In the event of illness, a doctor's certificate must be provided. In that case, you can make up the course at a later time.

Ongoing membership and membership cards

Our memberships have different binding periods. The binding period starts on the day the monthly subscription is signed. All ongoing memberships continue on a monthly basis after the binding period ends, until written termination is received.

Our haircut cards are valid for 3 months. These are non-refundable and we reserve the right to make changes to the schedule.

Persons who are not of legal age may enter into a membership agreement with Pilates Club if a guardian enters into the agreement on behalf of the person concerned and the guardian is responsible for paying for the membership.

Membership is personal and cannot be transferred or used by anyone other than the customer.

Pilates Club strives, but cannot always guarantee a place in group classes with a limited number of places.

Pilates Club can adapt group class offerings, booking conditions and opening hours in accordance with member demand, as well as close or reduce offerings in connection with holidays and the like.

Resignation

The termination must be sent by e-mail to post@pilatesclub.no. If the customer has not received confirmation of the termination within 5 business days, the customer must send the termination again. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the termination is sent to the correct e-mail address so that Pilates Club receives the termination.

There is a one (1) month notice period effective from the 1st of the following month for all our memberships. This means that a full monthly fee will be charged up to and including the month after the notice of cancellation is received by Pilates Club.

If you move more than 30 km away from the Pilates Club location, you can cancel your membership before the end of the binding period. In this case, you must send a notice of move by email. The rules for cancellation also apply when moving.

Membership freeze

You can freeze your current membership for one (1) month per calendar year. Applications for freezing must be sent in writing to post@pilatesclub.no. There is a one-month deadline for freezing and you can only freeze entire months.

If the customer freezes their monthly subscription during the commitment period, the commitment period will also be extended accordingly.

The customer has the right to freeze their monthly subscription in the event of illness. In the event of illness, the customer must send a sick note/doctor's certificate by e-mail to post@pilatesclub.no as soon as possible. Membership cannot be frozen retroactively, even when submitting a sick note/doctor's certificate.

Payment

The customer undertakes to pay membership fees in accordance with the agreement that is signed electronically upon registration. The monthly membership fee is due on an ongoing basis at the agreed time each month.

We recommend that customers set up Avtalegiro when signing up to avoid invoice fees. In case of late payment, additional costs will be incurred, and the invoice will be sent to debt collection after notification. The customer is responsible for ensuring that payment for ongoing membership is made monthly, by the due date.

The customer must immediately give written notice to Pilates Club, sent via email to tilpost@pilatesclub.no, of payment problems or errors on the invoice. This way we can avoid unnecessary debt collection cases and ensure proper processing of payment deferrals.

Pilates Club reserves the right to adjust prices according to the index for ongoing memberships where the binding period has expired.
